Stock Strikers

Stock Strikers is the Young Game Developers Association's submission  to the 2026  Coolmath Game Jam. 

Controls: WASD to move, Left click to shoot, Right click to dash.

Instructions:
Make it to the top in this infinite roguelike heist! Shoot and dodge evil currencies to get to the elevator after clearing each floor. In the shop there, you’ll be able to buy ever-changing stocks and powerful upgrades. The stock’s price and power are directly connected and change after clearing any room with enemies. The permanent upgrades are expensive, but can be bought with loans. Be careful, since loans will gain debt over time! 

How much should you save for the future? What's your risk appetite? If some of your stock picks underperform, how should your gameplay change? Players battle these important questions of financial literacy as much as they do enemies in the exhilarating, enriching gameplay of Stock Strikers by YGDA.
